After last week’s reveal of the 11501 Bunch of Tulips at the Chinese International Import Expo, another three Botanical sets in the 2026 lineup have been revealed.
These sets will be released on January 1, 2026, and cover the range of sets we are becoming accustomed to seeing in the Botanicals Range: a small cute bouquet, a potted succulent and a traditional indoor plant. Some sets are aimed at adults, while some aretargetted at younger builders. Read on for more.

It was the mid-1980s, and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment seemed to do no wrong. On the tail of E.T. the Extra terrestrial (1982)and Gremlins (1984), in 1985 Steven Spielberg’s production company went on to present Back to the Future and The Goonies. While these are not the only films released by Amblin in that period, these four were all represented in LEGO Dimensions (released in 2015) – with various packs released over the years that the theme ran.
A couple of these films have also had sets released under the LEGO Ideas label – Last month’s LEGO Ideas Gizmo, from Gremlins, along with 2014’s Delorean Time Machine.
Today, we see the formal reveal of 21363 The Goonies. Like Gizmo, this submission was part of the ‘If we could turn back time – 1980’s’ challenge that ran on the Ideas platform in March 1984.
Based on the design by Delusionbrick, this set has 2912 pieces, and will be priced at $AUD499.99 /$USD329.99 / 299.99€ /£269.99. It includes 12 minifigures, and will be released on November 1 2025.
The latest LEGO® Icons set has been revealed, a 4154 piece model of a tropical aquarium.
If you have been observing the range adult-focused LEGO models released over the past few years, you will have noticed a number of recurring , popular subjects for realisation in LEGO models. One is the Botanical collection, debuting as a subset of ICONS in 2021, life size flower models have taken the world by storm, and (re) introduced LEGO Bricks to people who may not have picked one up for years. In parallel with this, life size real-world objects have become a trend that transcends third party IP: starting with the LEGO Ideas Typewriter, taking in a Globe of the World, Harry Potter artefacts, Disney Villain VHS cassettes, video game consoles and sports shoes.
And today we see a set revealed that combines the two: a collection of corals and anenomes that rival the Botanical collection in their crazy, colourful parts usage in the outline of a fishtank that looks to be the right size to fill up a dentist’s office.
Set 10366 has 4154 pieces and will be priced at $AUD699.99 / $USD479.99 / €449.99 / £399.99. It goes on sale on the 13th of November 2025. Let’s see what we know from the press release:

Wondering what’s coming your way for the Winter Holiday Village this year? Wait no more. Today the LEGO Group have revealed the upcoming release of two major holiday themed sets, coming in October 2025. the first is 10361 LEGO® Icons Holiday Express Train – the third winter holiday train and the first since the LEGO Group adopted the ICONs branding (and started to use a lot of pale blue in their winter holiday sets.)
There is also the massive 41843 LEGO Family Christmas Tree Decoration, with 3171 pieces. This Christmas Tree opens up to reveal a diorama stacked with minifigures.
Death Stars, in various shapes, sizes and forms played an integral part of the original Star Wars Trilogy. Along with the 75192 Millenium Falcon, the LEGO Star Wars Death Star play sets experienced remarkable longevity on the store shelves (Falcon – 8 years and counting;10188 – 2008, but still seen on the shelves until 2014, and 75159 was on the shelves from 2016 for another 4 years or so).
Launching in October 2025 is the largest LEGO StarWars set (by both piece and minifigure count) – 71459 Death Star. While the first two Death Star play sets were spherical, this latest version addresses one of the biggest issues confronting LEGO StarWars Ultimate Collector Series sets today: Storage space.

I have a theory: Creator 3in1 sets and Collectable minifigures are the last bastion of the classic themes that we would love to see the LEGO Group bring back. Some of the August release Creator 3in1 sets – 31167 Haunted Mansion and 31168 The Medieval Horse Knight Castle – both seem to serve my point to a certain extent, calling back to Monster Fighters and Classic Castle, respectively.
In this review, we will look at the new Creator 3in1 31167 Haunted Mansion. This was released on August 1, and comes with 736 pieces and five unique minifigures. It is priced at $AUD149.99/ $USD89.99 / €89.99 / £79.99.
As I set out to review this set, I may have become distracted and started looking at other ‘Haunted Themes’ that we have seen across the years…
Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle – and by extension, the stereotypical Disney Castle, has been the subject of a number of interpretations at a number of scales, aimed at varying age groups over the years. Now at last, Neuschwanstein Castle, the original inspiration for Sleeping Beauty’s castle has come to the LEGO Architecture range. With 3455 pieces, and priced at $AUD399.99/ $USD279.99 / 269,99 € / £239.99, the set will be released on 1st August 2025.
It’s been a hot minute since we had a LEGO Icons car revealed. The latest is the Shelby Cobra 427 S/C: this 1960’s sports car is set for release on July 1, has 1241 pieces and is priced at $AUD249.99 / $USD159.99 / €149,99 / £139,99
First released in 1965, with a combination of the sleek styling, and the 427 cubic inch (7-liter) Ford V8 engine, the 427 Cobra is celebrated for its ability to accelerate quickly, with some models reaching 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds. This car is a masterful example of great style and brawn in the one package.

4 years ago, LightBrick studio brought us LEGO Builders Journey. This game received a major update last week and continues to provide me with joy after all this time. (My review is following soon). Today at Summer Games Fest, the studio have revealed their second game: LEGO Voyagers. This multiplatform co-op adventure game is about friendship and play. When two friends make it their mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship, they embark on a journey beyond their wildest dreams, ultimately learning the value of being connected.

I might be a little late to discovering the incredibly popular Manga/Anime One piece. My first exposure was probably on an airplane coming home from Japan last year, and then watching the recent series on Netflix. We can say what we like about whether or not there is a need to convert anime series to live action, but I will admit, the storytelling feels a little tighter in the newer form of the series. And it is through the Netflix series that the range of LEGO One piece has come to new developed.
Based on Eiichiro Oda’s legendary and beloved manga series, the first season of ONE PIECE sailed into Netflix’s Global Top 10 Shows where it spent eight weeks uniting fans of all ages in celebration of the Straw Hat’s voyage of hope and boundless spirit of adventure.
