With the Lunar New Year just around the corner, I though I might take a look at the Dragon Dance Guy, the first Brickheadz character to be released for this particular seasonal event. The dragon dance is a frequently performed at Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, traditionally to celebrate a successful Harvest. The dragon is thought to bring prosperity and good luck. It is also believed that the dance will scare away evil spirits.
We have a few days to go, and a couple of themes to look over as we approach the end of our Advent-ure. Regular readers might recall that this is the 20th anniversary of the first LEGO Advent Calendar, and we have been surveying Christmas holiday themes and set from across the years.
We have seen a number of different brick built Santas over the last couple of weeks and today I would like to look at a subject that has been across many licences and themes in 2018: Brickheadz. This year we have seen a Brickheadz double pack featuring Mr. and Mrs. Claus – 40274 A hot seller, it has been difficult to track down, frequently being out of stock at the LEGO online store.Continue reading
Hot on the tail of the recent official announcement of the LEGO® DC and Marvel Superheroes BrickHeadz comes proof of the range extending through other IP Licenses. Today, the LEGO® Group and Disney officially unveiled Beauty and the Beast in BrickHeadz (no, I can’t bring myself to like the ‘z’ either) form.

Today, The LEGO® Group officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated BrickHeadz range. Previewed last year, with a few San Diego Comic Con Exclusives, this new range seems to be entering the space occupied by collectables such as Funko Pop! vinyl figures, but with a constructible twist.
