Here’s our first look at October’s LEGO® Ideas Release, 21371 Wallace and Gromit. Submitted by Pidelium as part of the 90s Throwback, the Next Chapter Challenge, this set captures the claymation essence of our titular heroes, as seen in A Close Shave.

The set consists of two character builds, along with their motorcycle and sidecar, has 1038 pieces, and will go on sale on the first of October 2026. It will be priced at $AUD 149.99/ $USD99.99 USD / 99.99 € / £89.99.

The final model compares quite nicely with the original submission:

I think I prefer the sidecar’s final shape in the final model over the Ideas submission.

As a young adult in the late 80s/early 90s, I remember Wallace and Gromit coming to the screen for the first time, and A Close Shave remains my favorite after all this time. This is a model that will appeal to all (now adult) members of the Rambling Brick Household, so it merely remains to see who will get to build it!
