It’s an annual highlight in the LEGO Fan’s calendar: the reveal of the Modular Building. Once part of Creator Expert, and now ICONS, Modular buildings were my gateway drug, deranging me down a slippery slope into accepting life as an Adult Fan of a Children’s toy, over 15 years ago.
This year’s model does not disappoint me.
We have two buildings-!- music shop and a furniture store (with an upstairs workshop), separated by an angled alleyway. They are joined by connecting walkways at the first and second floors.

LEGO ICONS SET 11371 Shopping Street will be priced at $AUD399.99/ $USD249.99 / 249,99 EUR / £229.99 The set will be released on January 1 2026 has 3456 pieces and seven minifigures- two of whom are twins.
Immerse yourself in a creative project with the LEGO® Icons Shopping Street miniature house building kit for adults (11371). Unwind as you craft this captivating addition to the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection. Inspired by historic European architecture, this richly detailed model features buildings with charming, angled walls, ornate facades, a central alleyway and a classic plaza.

The 3-level building includes a 2-storey music shop with marching-band instruments, and an adjacent furniture shop complete with a counter, stools, table and workshop. The top floor is home to a furnished flat with a bathroom, while a roof garden provides space for potted plants and a pigeon coop.

There is something about a bay window and sand green bricks that makes me nostalgic for the 10185 green grocer. I’ll have to look closer, but those look like 1×8 bricks, as well as the 1×2 brick with slot. It’s worthwhile looking those up on bricklink. I think the market adjust when they hit pick a brick next July..
I’ll be sure to put these sets side by side when my review recovers from a critical “leaving the iPad on the plane in Helsinki” moment. I am now in Billund.
Steps have been taken to fix this problem. But there will be a delay. Not long, I promise.
In the meantime, I’d love to know what you think of this model. It’s certainly a change in style from last year’s Tudor corner. Leave your comments below
