Two new sets have been added to the LEGO x Nike roster – due for release on 1st September 2025 the 43010 Slam Dunk and 43021 Dunk Trickshot bring some contrasting basketball builds, inspiring vibes from posters of years gone by, as well as capturing the sens of fun we have come to associate with some of the LEGO Groups greatest collaborative efforts.
43010 Slam Dunk
Piece Count: 809
Price: AUD109.99 / 69,99 USD / 69,99 EUR / 59,99 GBP
With 809 pieces, this set evokes a popart image of your favorite basketball hero leaping improbably high into the air before slamming the ball through the hoop. I am intrigued by the proportions of the limbs here, and cannot wait to experiment with some wide angle shots to capture the action. The model can be customised with different coloured uniforms as well as a smooth short haircut, or topknot. I love the powerful stars lifting the player up to shoot, while the audience and scoreboard pale into insignificance when compared to the magnificence of the athlete’s feet feat.

The audience is quiet. Anticipation fills the air. They shoot – they score! Capture the energy and excitement of that epic moment before a player performs a poster-worthy slam dunk with this awesome LEGO® Nike building set (43010) for kids aged 10 and over. Channel your inner court champion as you build this hype-worthy model and discover all the details that’ll make the crowd go wild. Create a figure of a basketball star with posable arms and head and bring their slam dunk moment to life with a hoop, scoreboard, championship banner and spectators. Once you’ve built your baller, have fun customising them – decide on their hairstyle and personalise their Nike jersey and trainers with different numbers and trim. Score your own slam dunk by giving this building toy as a sports gift for boys, girls and basketball fans, who can display the scene as awesome LEGO Nike bedroom decor. We can hear the cheers already. Set contains 809 pieces.
43021 Dunk Trickshot
Price: AUD 59.99 / 39,99 USD / 39,99 EUR / 34,99 GBP
With 454 pieces, the Dunk Trickshot continues the vibe of the previously released Nike Dunk, and brings a game on the local court down the road to the fore. With the flick of a lever, the hooded player leaps up towards the goal, from within the oversized (for a minifigure) shoe.

The neighbourhood playground becomes a stage with this awesome LEGO® Nike Dunk Trickshot (43021) building set for kids aged 10 and over, which lets basketball fans create a cool sports scene before scoring their own trickshot. Budding basketball stars build a hype-worthy graffiti art background before moving onto the awesome low-top trainer and hoop. The trainer is based on Nike’s iconic Nike Dunk design and even comes in the same colourway as the original kicks. But this is more than just a trainer model – it features a mini lever that kids can push to replicate a dunking action and can even be removed from the model so you can create your own basketball game. Bringing the scene to life is an exclusive minifigure with 2 head options and a hoodie based on the drip designed as part of the LEGO Nike collab. A fun gift for sports fans of all ages, this drop makes a vibrant piece of sports decor that celebrates the playful side of basketball. Set contains 454 pieces
These two sets look like a lot of fun. I was a little wary of the collaboration at first, and while I might not be the target demographic, Basket ball is one of the great participation sports around the world, and both of these sets will appeal to fans of the game, as well as the legacy of historical print adverts, posters and street culture inspired artworks.

I’m looking forward to checking these sets out in the near future. If you haven’t already, you can check out Branko’s review of the first Nike Dunk Set 43008. That set rapidly went onto backorder, and I suspect these will too.
