The LEGO Group and Formula 1 revealed their upcoming multiyear collaboration earlier in the year. Today, as the Sun Rises on the Las Vegas Grand Prix, we see the first batch of sets to be released as part of this team up. There are sets from Duplo, LEGO City, Speed Champion and a set of collectible F1 Cars that will be just the perfect size for a pocket money set. In the mean time, there will be new ‘Build the Thrill’ activities on and off the Track. Next year, 2025, sees the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, so these sets will be released just in time for the party!
The DUPLO and City Sets are due for Release on 1st January 2025, while the Speed Champions are set to hit the streets on 1st March 2025. The collectable race cars will be released 1st May 2025.

Las Vegas & Billund, 21 November 2024: Today, the LEGO Group and Formula 1® unveil their brand-new range of LEGO® sets at the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2024 race. All sets are launching in early 2025, just in time to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Formula 1®.
The product reveal is the first step in the new multi-year partnership between the two brands, which will connect more fans of LEGO building with the world of Formula 1®, bringing together two passionate global fanbases.

I’ll have to admit, these little cars look like they will be great stocking-stuffers or ‘any occasion’ gifts at such an affordable price. The other thing apparent from these images is that the F1 drivers will have new helmets – in Speed Champions and the Collectables, anyway.
All products in the LEGO Group and Formula 1® collection will be launching early 2025, with LEGO DUPLO and LEGO City sets available starting 1st January, LEGO Speed Champions as of 1st March 2025 with pre-order starting today in select regions, and LEGO Collectibles will be available from 1st May. All products will be available from www.LEGO.com/F1 and in LEGO Stores worldwide.
I was a huge fan of last year’s Space Tentpole theme, and this year we can look forward a similar experience with Formula 1. I am disappointed that there are no obvious Creator 3in1 sets, and I am curious to see what might come up in Technic, which is yet to be revealed for the year.

As a fan of LEGO and open-wheel racing, I couldn’t ask for more than this. It will be hard for me not to buy everything, but the 10 Speed Champions and the 12 collectibles will be my top priority. I’m sure there will be Technic I want also. Will there be more in 3-in-1 or Friends or any other theme? More than enough has already been announced, but I’m curious what is still to come
