The countdown is on for LEGO® fans! Tickets are now available for the Brickvention 2026 Public Expo, and the team organising the event are thrilled to announce an exclusive 50% discount on tickets for members of the LEGO® Insiders program. just for being part of the community.

The public expo runs Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th January 2026 at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton (just outside the CBD of Melbourne, Australia).

“For two decades, Brickvention has brought Melbourne an explosion of colour, creativity and community,” said Brickvention spokesperson Jason Cichon. “Public Expo sessions regularly sell out, so we encourage families and fans to book early…”

There will be hundreds of original, never-before-seen builds crafted by Australian and International builders. There will also be build zones, workshops and interactive areas. Its a great chance to catch up with fellow LEGO Enthusiasts and creators. And of course, a chance to find exclusive merchandise, and hard to find sets from the vendors.

40789 Moon Car: A retro-futurist LEGO Insiders Reward [review].

Looking back to January 2024, LEGO® Ideas launches the Exploring the Cosmos challenge: “Can you imagine how awesome the spacecraft and bases on planets will look like in 100+ years as humans start to explore the cosmos? ”

Fast forward to July 2025, and the 40789 Moon Car, designed by EnchantingNoodle is available from the LEGO Insiders centre for 2500 Points. I’ve been away for a few weeks, visiting Japan Brickfest, so imagine my delight when I got home to discover the LEGO Group had arranged for this set to be waiting for me.

The LEGO Group’s Official Stance on Digital vs Paper Instructions: September 2024

If there is one thing that is bound to raise the hackles of many AFOLs, it’s the offer of removing a something that they regard as an intrinsic part of the experience. And yesterday’s survey on the topic of Digital vs paper instructions certainly raised a few hackles. And then, it was mysteriously removed.

Today, we have received an official response from the LEGO Group on the subject.

Vale LEGO® VIP: VIP Program set to be Rebranded as ‘LEGO Insiders’ from August 21, 2023.

The LEGO Group have just revealed their plan to rebrand the VIP program as LEGO® Insiders: what does this mean? I love an 11pm (local time ) announcement, without notice, but it doesn’t really leave a lot of time for analysis.

14th August 2023: Today, the LEGO Group announce LEGO® Insiders, a loyalty program where members can discover a wealth of exciting experiences and exclusive rewards, including offers and gifts. Launching on the 21st August, LEGO Insiders will replace the previous LEGO VIP membership program, but also brings all LEGO accounts (for over 18s) into one place.  Making it easier to manage your account, earn and spend points, access special offers and be part of the LEGO Insiders community. LEGO Insiders features all the great benefits VIP members have come to love, but with some great new perks:
