The Marvel universe has been growing up over the course of more than 50 years, and has developed some iconic locations over at period. With a lot of the action taking place in New York City, it makes sense that you might aim to join them together to produce a Skyline of their own. And so the LEGO Group has!

And so this is what we see coming up in January 2027. Priced at $AUD149.99 / $USD99.99 / 99.99€ / £89.99 and packing 1261 pieces, The Marvel Skyline captures locations from across the Marvel Multiverse.

Rekindle Marvel memories in one sweeping megacity, from iconic super hero hubs (Wakandan Embassy, Rand Enterprises Building, Pym Laboratories, the X-Men Mansion) to dark strongholds of infamous villains on the wrong side of town (Hammer Industries, Roxxon Corporation, Oscorp Industries, Fisk Tower).

The great thing about Microscale buildings is that you can use a minifigure to convey a giant character such as Galactus – and we have a couple of nanofigures introduced for Spider-Man and the Human Torch

I appreciate not only the microscaled details of these key locations of the Marvel Universe but also the fact that the sky over Marvel New York is never dull – from Thanos’s helicopter (Comic reference) to the Leviathan from Avengers and the Human Torch, flaming-on over the Baxter Building Each vehicle and building has its own style, which helps to maintain the character or each story and location.

I wonder how long it will take before we see the Skyline incorporated into a Micropolis layout at fan conventions?
