LEGO® House Exclusive set for2026 has been revealed: “I ❤️ Billund”

A LEGO set representing Billund, featuring models of LEGOLAND and iconic landmarks, with the text announcing the 2026 exclusive set 'I ❤️ Billund'.

I’m not going to lie. I have probably enjoyed visiting Billund more than any other town in the world. When I first visited back in 2016, the LEGO house was in the process of moving from being a hole in the ground, and taking shape as a building in the centre of town. When I visited nearly 12 months later, it was well on the way to being prepared for its opening in September.

With the LEGO house at its centre, the main campus, LEGOland park and the original Idea House all within a few hundred meters of each other, the time has come for the annual LEGO House exclusive set to celebrate the Town, highlighting different features and attractions that will appeal to many who make the trip to Billund each year.

The newest LEGO® House Exclusive Set pays tribute to the birthplace of the LEGO brick, bringing Billund’s most iconic LEGO landmarks to life in miniature.

19 February 2026, Billund, Denmark – LEGO® House, the Home of the Brick™, today unveils its 2026 exclusive set today, I ❤️ Billund (40507), a heartfelt tribute to the hometown of the LEGO Group and the place where LEGO creativity began.

Made from 1,404 LEGO elements, the set captures the heart and history of Billund through a collection of miniature landmarks, each representing a chapter of LEGO history and innovation.

Designed by LEGO House Master Builders in collaboration with designers from the LEGO Group, this Special Edition set invites fans to celebrate Billund’s past, present, and future. through the universal language of the LEGO brick.

“Billund is the heart of our story. It’s where LEGO play began and where it keeps evolving,” says Søren Bering Andersen, Head of Experiences, LEGO House. “With ❤️ Billund, we wanted to capture not just the landmarks, but the feeling of what this place means to families, fans, and everyone who’s ever dreamed in LEGO bricks.”

From the architectural lines of LEGO House itself to the rides and attractions of LEGOLAND® Billund, the innovative presence of LEGO Campus and the town’s early connections to travel and play, every element in I ❤️ Billund reflects how a small Danish town grew into the global home of play and creativity.

A Build That Brings the Whole Family Together

The set is built around four modular sections: three landscape modules connected by a shared base, allowing families or friends to build different parts of Billund at the same time before assembling them into one cohesive display.

Every section celebrates a unique story from Billund’s creative landscape:

LEGO® House – The Home of the Brick™

Aerial view of a colourful modern building with multiple roof levels in red, yellow, green, blue, and white, surrounded by a landscaped area and nearby urban structures.
A model of the LEGO House in Billund, featuring colourful LEGO bricks and a Danish flag.

At the heart of the model stands LEGO House itself, recreated with its signature stacked brick design and colours representing the endless creative possibilities of LEGO play.

Hidden details for attentive builders include:

  • A miniature Tree of Creativity, complete with the crane symbolizing how the LEGO Group is ever evolving.
  • A gold trophy element celebrating the LEGO Masters Academy, which recently introduced its new Level 1 experience.
  • Four smaller zones built in red, yellow, green, and blue, symbolizing the four core Experience Zones for Learning Through Play within LEGO House.
  • A Danish flag flying above LEGO House, marking its place as the creative heart of Billund.

LEGOLAND® Billund

The world’s first LEGOLAND® park is brought to life through recognizable landmarks such as the Medieval Castle, Observation Tower, and Miniland buildings.

Playful Easter eggs include:

  • The Dragon rollercoaster, winding through the towers.
  • A miniature train that pays homage to Miniland’s nostalgic rides.
  • A nod to the LEGOLAND guards, built in micro-scale detail.
  • A playful “LEGOLAND Billund” gateway to welcome visitors.

LEGO® Campus, Ole Kirk’s House, and LEGO System House

This section captures the heart of Billund’s creative heritage and working LEGO environment, bringing together several historic and present-day landmarks:

A detailed LEGO model depicting the LEGO Campus, Kornmarken Factory, Ole Kirk's House, and LEGO System House, with labels pointing to each structure.

·        LEGO Campus, featuring green roof gardens and a miniature version of the giant welcoming Minifigure, cleverly represented using a baby Minifigure element as a playful Easter egg.

·        Ole Kirk’s House, the historic home of LEGO founder Ole Kirk Christiansen, represented as a tribute to the values of craftsmanship, quality, and care that shaped the earliest days of LEGO play. The model references the building’s distinctive architecture and the symbolic lions at its entrance, a quiet reminder of the pride and attention to detail that defined the LEGO group from the start.

·        LEGO System House (today known as the LEGO Idea House), where the LEGO System in Play was developed.

·        The Kornmarken Factory, complete with a tiny yellow LEGO delivery truck and interior production details that nod to the origins of LEGO brick manufacturing.

·        A red LEGO airplane appears in this module as a tribute to the LEGO airfield inaugurated in 1962, which later evolved into today’s Billund Airport, symbolizing the company’s journey from local roots to global reach.

Designed with Heart, and a Place for You

Completing the build, a subtle pathway runs across all three modules, representing the real-life Billund Playline – a playful walking route connecting major LEGO landmarks across town.

Along the way, builders can add themselves to the story: the set includes space to place their own minifigure or family duo in the scene, making each I ❤️ Billund model into a truly personal keepsake that reflects their own connection to Billund.
