Here’s our first look at October’s LEGO® Ideas Release, 21371 Wallace and Gromit. Submitted by Pidelium as part of the 90s Throwback, the Next Chapter Challenge, this set captures the claymation essence of our titular heroes, as seen in A Close Shave. The builds of Jeff Friesen (@jeff_works on Instagram) are familiar to many LEGO Fans on Instagram: he has a certain style in the worlds he creates: whether Spaceships, Cities or Castles, his sense of line and colour is immediately recognizable. In his latest book - Building LEGO® Worlds - Create the Worlds You’ve Only Imagined (Nostarch Press, released August 2026) - he breaks down his process: from terraforming and landscaping, through to filling your new world with microscale life. I picked up a copy of 7568 Belville Sunshine Home at the local Trash and Treasure market this morning. Unfortunately, it was missing a the adult figures. It turns out to be just the right scale for the smart play Pokémon to hang out in. I love the accessories that came with the set, and needed to make a few changes to the Pokemon who were not blessed with opposable thumbs. The wine flagon from Fabuland received a trans blue makeover to be reborn as a water bottle. Time for a home grown show The team here at The Rambling Brick are proud to have been accepted to migrate from the LEGO Ambassador Network to the new LEGO Fan CoLab. Fortunately, my ageing tin whistle was close at hand… Checkout the glowup that SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward have received in LEGO ICONS 11386 SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom. Except Gary. Gary has become a single sided snail. I don’t quite understand why this had to happen.
