A little over 24 hours ago, the Knoller-in-Chief and I left Melbourne airport, bound for Oslo. We are spending a little over a week wandering around Norway, before heading to Denmark for the Skaerbaek Fan Weekend at the end of September.
As I write this, we are experiencing a 4 hour stopover at Copenhagen airport before embarking on our final flight, for the time being
The flight has been fine, but I have no idea what time of day it is. As such, I will only reveal our sigfig faces, so as not to cause personal regret at a later date.
I don’t know why, but I was somewhat surprised to find not one, but 2 LEGO branded stores on the terminal concourse, and it would have been a little too hard to pass them by completely.
There were 2 things that I was hoping for- a stuntz bathtub guy, because I can never find them in Melbourne, and another classic castle knight minifigure from series 23, if only because I am presenting at Skaerbaek (SFW) on the LEGACY OF CLASSIC CASTLE. Perhaps I should update my castle sigfig for my presentation. He is currently wearing lion knight regalia, to tie in with my MOC, but a classic torso and shield could be nifty.
I found both of these on the shelf. Hooray.

Let’s checkout the feeling skills/box location knowledge in this depleted box at a busy store…

Great success. The thing I love about this figure is we have a breast plate as well as the printed torso, so here I am with the Lions, and updated with the neo-classic breastplate.

This left a spare torso, sword and hobby horse for Ann…
He we are, ready to ride on our brick badges.

It’s starting to feel a bit real. Time to pack up for now… I think they are opening our gate.
As for the rubber duck/bathtub Stuntz (60333) that will have to wait for another time.
Are you heading to the Skaerbaek Fan weekend? Any hints for a newby? Why not leave them in the comments below, and until next time,
Play well!
I look forward to meeting you again, Richard. Enjoy your stay in Europe and if you have time while in Skaerbaek before the event, go and take a look at nearby Ribe and the island of Romo.
