Share Your Builder’s Journey, For Your Chance To Win A Set Of Nostalgia Filled Minifigures

It looks like people have been enjoying the Builder’s Journeys column – our Throwback Thursday feature where we ask AFOLs to name a set that has a special meaning to them.

So far we have heard about sets from the last 50 years, from the LEGOLAND Bakery from 1973, through to the Hobbit. You can find all of the previous articles here.

If you have been thinking about making a contribution – there is no better time than the present. All submissions received by the 23rd of October will go into a draw for a great nostalgia laden prize from Jumper Plate.

The Classic Town Minifigure Collection

Inspired by LEGO’s Classic Town sets produced in the early 80s, the AFOLs at Jumper Plate have created five collectable Minifigures to honour this nostalgic theme, each in their own classic monochrome colour scheme.
Every Minifigure purchased goes towards the support and ongoing development of the LEGO Club management system so we all can do more of the fun stuff… building, which ultimately helps us grow our whole LEGO community. These figures are currently available through the Jumper Plate Online Store, for delivery to Australia and New Zealand only.

I have purchased a set of these figures for my own collection, and look forward to reviewing them as soon as they clear customs!

About Jumper Plate

Jumper Plate is a LEGO club management system specifically designed to reduce the workload of any RLUG managing their growing club, members, activities, assets and the opportunities LEGO offers as part of being a recognised LEGO User Group. No one starts a club for the paperwork… right?

Jumper Plate’s mission is to strengthen the growth of all our LEGO Communities by providing every LEGO Club around the world the right tools that make everyone’s life a lot simpler so that we can all do more of the fun stuff… building.

Jumper Plate was created by Jay Horne, who provided last week’s “Builders’ Journeys” column.

Tell us your story for a chance to win:

The team at Jumper Plate have provided The Rambling Brick with a complete set of their Classic Town Minifigure Collection to give away, and we will cover shipping – worldwide. To enter the draw, fill in the form here, giving your name, and some other details, the name of a LEGO Set that has some significance to you, and a short explaination as to why it is important to you, or how it helped to shape you into the LEGO Fan you are today. It could be your first set; that set that you played day in, day out; a set you built with your grandparents; a set that told you it was OK to play with LEGO as an adult. Anything really!

You may submit multiple entries, but only your name will only enter the prize draw once.

The winners name entry will be drawn at random, and will receive a complete set of the Jumper Plate Classic Town Minifigure Collection. All entries will have the opportunity to be published on our Throwback Thursday column over the next few months. [Prior contributors to the column, with the exception of employees of Jumper Plate, will be automatically entered into the draw].

Fill in the Entry Form Here

Entries received before 11:59pm UTC on October 24, 2021 will be eligible to enter into the draw.

I can’t wait to hear your set choices, and reasons. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below, or send and email to ramblingbrick@gmail.com. and until next time,

Play Well!
